Customer Service & Checkout Team Member

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic team members to join the Customer Service & Checkout team at Mitre 10 MEGA Brougham St. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and involves assisting shoppers, handling transactions and ensuring a smooth, friendly experience for every customer.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers and respond to general enquiries.
• Process purchases, returns and exchanges using the point‑of‑sale system.
• Handle cash, card and other payment methods accurately.
• Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Maintain a clean and organised checkout area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support store operations during busy periods.

Required profile

• Availability to work either Tuesday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Thursday (specify availability).
• Enthusiastic, team‑oriented attitude with a passion for customer service.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Good time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Cash handling experience (preferred but not mandatory).
