Communications Lead

About the role

The Zentera wool Company is seeking a Communications Lead to shape how the brand connects with internal and external audiences. You will translate complex business priorities into clear, compelling stories that reinforce our sustainable, premium‑wool mission.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and edit high‑quality, on‑brand content for digital, media, internal and corporate channels.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets and external stakeholders, pitch stories and manage enquiries.
• Design and execute proactive communication plans aligned with business objectives, ensuring coordinated delivery across all channels.
• Provide trusted advice to senior leaders, identify reputational risks early and manage sensitive issues with professionalism.
• Support leadership messaging and create engaging internal communications that keep employees informed, connected and aligned.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in communications, media, public relations or a related field.
• Proven ability to turn complex information into audience‑focused messaging.
• Strong writing skills across multiple formats (media, digital, internal, executive communications).
• Experience advising leaders on communications strategy and handling reputational or media issues.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and project‑management capabilities, with the ability to juggle priorities and deliver quickly.
