Commis, Demi & Chef de Partie – Relocate to Gold Coast

About the role

RACV Royal Pines Resort on the Gold Coast is seeking enthusiastic Commis, Demi Chef and Chef de Partie professionals to join its dynamic culinary team. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates willing to relocate and work across a variety of kitchen environments, from the main production kitchen to high‑volume conference and events outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily kitchen operations, including preparation, cooking and service.
• Apply knife skills, mise en place and a range of cooking techniques to produce consistent, high‑quality dishes.
• Maintain equipment, utensils and a clean, hygienic kitchen environment.
• Rotate stock efficiently to minimise waste.
• Collaborate with team members and follow directions from senior chefs.
• Adhere to WHS policies, health and safety procedures.

Required profile

• Availability for a flexible 7‑day rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Completed Certificate III in Cookery (Australian recognised qualification).
• Previous experience in a 4‑5 star hotel or resort commercial kitchen.
• Strong attention to detail, time‑management and organisational skills.
• Effective communication, team‑oriented attitude and a passion for food quality and presentation.
• Professional grooming and personal presentation.
