About the role

As an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Nando’s in Takanini, you will support the day‑to‑day running of a busy restaurant, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operations. You’ll work side‑by‑side with the team, driving energy, quality service and a memorable Nando’s experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, including service flow, grill stations and guest satisfaction.
• Lead and motivate a diverse team, setting the tone for a positive, high‑energy shift.
• Coach staff to deliver consistent Nando’s standards and handle guest enquiries.
• Maintain health, safety and food‑handling standards, ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with scheduling, inventory control and financial reporting.

Required profile

Required skills

• Liquor accreditation (as required by local law).
• First Aid certification.
• CPR certification.
• Manager accreditation or equivalent restaurant management certification.
