About the role
KidStrong is looking for an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering an exceptional experience for children, families, and team members at the center. This second‑in‑command role combines operational oversight, sales leadership, and hands‑on coaching for kids aged from walking to 11 years.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor centre KPIs and financials to make informed business decisions.
- Maintain relationships with families, ensure brand consistency, and oversee daily cleaning and maintenance.
- Manage coach schedules, communicate changes via scheduling platforms, and lead a physically intensive environment.
- Drive sales through lead management, call drives, event bookings, and local brand‑awareness activities.
- Foster a coaching culture, assess and develop coaches using the KidStrong Coach DNA profile and LearnUpon.
- Deliver curriculum focused on brain, physical, and character development, and record attendance and awards using the KS Coaches App.
Required profile
- Engaging leader with a welcoming attitude and strong customer‑service focus.
- Ability to work a schedule of four weekdays plus one weekend shift.
- Comfortable in a physically demanding environment, including moving equipment and covering multiple miles per shift.
- Passion for child development and ability to communicate the KidStrong curriculum clearly.
Required skills
- Proficiency with a CRM tool for lead and sales management.
- Experience using Slack and Email for professional communication.
- Familiarity with LearnUpon for staff training and development.
- Ability to operate the KS Coaches App for data recording.
