About the role
We are looking for a proactive Temporary Recruitment Coordinator to join our team in Christchurch. You will play a central part in keeping the recruitment process moving efficiently, handling candidate screening, shortlisting and initial contact.
Key responsibilities
- Screen and review CVs to identify suitable candidates.
- Shortlist candidates and conduct phone screens and initial checks.
- Provide day‑to‑day recruitment administration support to the wider team.
- Maintain accurate records and update candidate statuses in the tracking system.
Required profile
- Comfortable spending the majority of the day on the phone.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent attention to detail when reviewing applications.
- Confident communicator with a practical, straightforward approach.
- Organised, reliable and able to work alongside operational teams.
Required skills
What we offer
- $28.95 per hour (visible salary).
- Temporary fixed‑term contract (1‑2 months).
- Full‑time schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm.
- Christchurch‑based onsite role.
