Supply Chain Coordinator

About the role

As the Supply Chain Coordinator at Southern Cross Brightside Hospital, you will manage day‑to‑day supply chain activities to ensure that critical medical and non‑medical products are available when needed. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and clinical teams to keep inventory accurate, support patient care, and maintain a compliant, audit‑ready environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store, and organise stock across the hospital’s supply chain.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and master data in the ERP system.
• Monitor demand, anticipate shortages and resolve stock variances.
• Produce performance reports and contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health‑care regulations and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in inventory, supply chain or warehousing environments where accuracy and speed are essential.
• Experience using ERP systems for inventory management and data integrity.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to see the broader operational picture.
• Problem‑solving mindset and willingness to roll up sleeves.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency.
• Relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field is desirable; APICS or similar certification is a plus.
