Warehouse Operator

About the role

Join Global Express NZ’s Logistics team in Otahuhu as a Warehouse Operator. You will play a key part in handling freight efficiently and safely, helping the company meet its on‑time, damage‑free delivery targets.

Key responsibilities

• Load and unload all freight safely and securely.
• Scan freight promptly using RF scanners to meet on‑time operational objectives.
• Ensure all accompanying documentation is complete and accurate.
• Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely, following health and safety protocols.
• Communicate effectively within the team to support smooth goods movements.

Required profile

• Team‑oriented individual with prior reach‑truck and counterbalance forklift experience.
• Strong focus on health and safety in a warehouse environment.
• Experience in the freight or logistics industry is preferred.
• Willingness to contribute continuous improvement ideas for inbound and outbound processes.

Required skills

• OSH‑approved forklift certificate.
• Counterbalance forklift operation.
• Reach‑truck operation.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
