Registered/Enrolled Nurse – Part‑time (24 hrs/week)

About the role

We are seeking a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our general practice team at The Doctors Tikipunga on a permanent part‑time basis (24 hours per week). You will work alongside doctors and allied health professionals to deliver high‑quality primary‑care services to the local community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and clinical support within a multidisciplinary general practice setting.
• Assist with patient assessments, health education and management of long‑term conditions.
• Collaborate with doctors and team members to improve community health outcomes.
• Participate in immunisation and smear‑taking programmes where required.

Required profile

• Current New Zealand practising nursing certificate.
• Experience in a medical centre or primary‑care environment (desirable).
• Alignment with the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi.
• Post‑graduate nursing qualifications or specialisation (desirable).
• Current CPR certification; immunisation and smear‑taking certificates are advantageous.
• Computer literate and able to work with practice management software.
• NZ residency or a valid work permit.
