People & Talent Partner – Auckland

About the role

Lancom, a technology services company in Auckland, is seeking a People & Talent Partner to lead the full employee lifecycle. Reporting to the CEO and working with the Fractional Integrator, you will combine strategic HR thinking with hands‑on execution across recruitment, engagement, learning and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Partner with business leaders on employee relations and people management matters.
• Maintain and improve HR policies, procedures and ensure compliance with New Zealand and Australian employment legislation.
• Drive engagement, wellbeing and culture initiatives across local and remote teams.
• Coordinate learning and development programmes aligned to capability needs.
• Support remuneration and performance review processes.
• Manage HR operations including off‑boarding, HRIS administration, reporting and compliance activities.
• Contribute to employer branding in partnership with Marketing.
• Collaborate with remote workforce providers to ensure consistent people practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in a generalist Talent & People role.
• Experience in technology, MSP or professional services environments preferred.
• Strong track record managing end‑to‑end recruitment processes.
• Knowledge of New Zealand employment law and health & safety requirements.
• Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Coaching experience or qualifications highly regarded; exposure to Australian employment law advantageous.
