Manufacturing Technician

About the role

The Manufacturing Technician supports the Manufacturing Manager in a regulated environment, handling the processing and packaging of blood‑derived products. The role ensures compliance with safety, quality and traceability standards while maintaining meticulous documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Comply with Environmental Health and Safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain full traceability for all products throughout the manufacturing process.
• Process blood products to raw serum: separate, process and package raw serum.
• Process raw serum to sterile serum: filter, fill and package sterile serum.
• Perform cleaning procedures to defined standards.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all activities.
• Carry out cross‑department duties as assigned.
• Identify and report quality or compliance concerns and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Awareness of and adherence to the Quality Manual, Quality Management System and relevant regulations.
• Completion of required Quality & Compliance training within defined deadlines.
• Ability to follow training requirements and undertake any reasonable additional tasks.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, quality and documentation.
