About the role
We are seeking a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join a high‑performing platform and infrastructure team. In this role you will design, build and scale the core infrastructure that powers modern, cloud‑native engineering environments, ensuring security, reliability and high availability.
Key responsibilities
- Design, provision and manage platform infrastructure, including networking and access controls.
- Implement and maintain RBAC models for secure, scalable access management.
- Support internal platforms and external managed services such as Kafka and Confluent Cloud.
- Establish and improve operational processes including monitoring, patching and BAU support.
- Manage platform security and ensure compliance with best‑practice standards.
- Drive reliability, scalability and performance across platform environments.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve platform usage and operational maturity.
- Provide technical leadership and contribute to platform and infrastructure strategy.
Required profile
- Strong experience with Azure across infrastructure, networking and security.
- Solid understanding of RBAC and identity‑and‑access‑management principles.
- Proven experience with modern CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience using Terraform or similar infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
- Background supporting platforms such as Kafka or Confluent Cloud.
- Experience improving operational processes and platform maturity.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
