Head of Statutory & Corporate Reporting

About the role

KMD Brands is seeking a Group Head of Statutory & Corporate Reporting to lead the financial reporting, statutory compliance and accounting governance for its global, multi‑brand organisation. This senior position sits within the Finance leadership team and works closely with the Group Financial Controller and Group CFO.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee month‑end close for all entities, ensuring accurate and timely Group consolidation and management reporting.
• Manage half‑year and year‑end statutory reporting, including preparation of consolidated financial statements.
• Develop, implement and maintain Group accounting policies and technical accounting standards.
• Design and deliver high‑quality financial controls and reporting frameworks across the Group.
• Support processes for group insurance renewal, debt refinancing and associated reporting.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA or equivalent professional qualification.
• 10+ years of accounting and finance experience, preferably with Big Four audit background and commercial exposure.
• Strong technical accounting expertise in statutory reporting and audit.
• Experience in a global, multi‑currency environment.
• High attention to detail, exceptional numerical accuracy and strong written communication.
• Proven leadership ability to manage teams, deadlines and complex reporting environments.
• Collaborative mindset and willingness to support cross‑functional teams.
