Corporate Tax Manager

About the role

EY is expanding its South Island presence and is looking for a Manager to lead its Corporate Tax team in Christchurch. You will work with a broad client base, help grow the practice, and support the development of junior staff in a high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver corporate tax advisory and compliance services for a range of clients.
• Work with New Zealand’s largest businesses, including NZX‑listed, private‑equity owned, and global companies through the EY network.
• Build trusted client relationships and contribute to EY’s business development initiatives.
• Support, coach and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture.
• Contribute to practice growth through technical excellence, market insight and innovation.

Required profile

• Strong technical capability with a growth mindset and collaborative approach.
• Proven experience in corporate tax within a professional services or large corporate environment.
• Ability to translate complex tax concepts into practical advice.
• Experience leading teams and supporting the development of others.
• Proactive, relationship‑focused attitude with interest in practice growth.
