Head of Finance

About the role

Vessev is scaling its hydrofoiling electric vessel business and needs its first dedicated finance leader. As Head of Finance you will own the financial modelling, planning and reporting that guide the company’s growth, production scale‑up and fundraising.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain the core financial model that drives budgeting, hiring, pricing, manufacturing strategy and fundraising.
• Prepare board decks, investor materials and strategic narratives.
• Support go‑to‑market decisions with economic analysis tools.
• Develop financial strategies for debt vs equity, scale‑up financing and working‑capital management.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to understand true COGS, bottlenecks and capital needs.
• Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor performance.
• Create lightweight planning, budgeting, cost‑tracking and approval processes.
• Coordinate with external bookkeeping, payroll and tax compliance functions.

• Highly analytical and detail‑oriented.
