Food and Beverage Attendant

About the role

Join the team at DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka as a Food and Beverage Attendant and help create memorable guest experiences across our restaurants, bars, room service, banquets and cafés. You will work in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, delivering friendly and efficient service to both local and international guests.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve food and beverage items promptly, including barista and cocktail preparation when required.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of menu items, promotions and any changes.
• Keep service areas clean, tidy and well‑stocked throughout each shift.
• Process guest payments accurately and settle accounts efficiently.
• Respond to guest inquiries with a polite and helpful attitude.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with strong communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
• Professional appearance and approach.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays.
• Valid work rights in New Zealand.
