About the role
The DoubleTree by Hilton Karaka is seeking a motivated Room Attendant to join its housekeeping team on a part‑time basis. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests.
Key responsibilities
- Clean and replenish guest rooms according to Hilton standards and procedures.
- Maintain tidy and well‑stocked housekeeping trolleys and linen rooms.
- Protect guest privacy during service and handle lost‑and‑found items in accordance with policy.
- Report any damage, loss, or maintenance issues to the Floor Supervisor promptly.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working order and report any deficiencies.
- Respond courteously to guest inquiries and resolve complaints when possible.
Required profile
- Fluent in English with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Flexible availability for morning, evening, weekend and public‑holiday shifts.
- Understanding of daily housekeeping operations on guest floors.
- Ability to follow Hilton policies, code of conduct and the team member handbook.
Required skills
- Knowledge of proper chemical usage and cleaning techniques for hotel rooms.
