Customer Support Advisor

About the role

Join Paymark, New Zealand’s leading payments network, as a Customer Support Advisor. You’ll be the friendly voice helping businesses of all sizes—from local dairies to major supermarkets—navigate payment solutions and resolve issues.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls and emails, providing clear, patient assistance to customers.
• Diagnose technical problems and escalate complex cases to the appropriate team.
• Introduce and promote Paymark products such as e‑commerce solutions and payment insights.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the company’s systems.
• Work a permanent, full‑time schedule (40 hours/week) with occasional night and weekend shifts, following a set roster.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal communication and a genuine desire to help customers.
• Ability to listen actively, understand underlying issues, and provide calm solutions.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing daily tasks and shift patterns.
• Eagerness to learn, supported by full training and a buddy system.
