Customer Service Representative – Canterbury Region

About the role

As a Customer Service Representative in the Canterbury region, you will be the first friendly voice our customers hear. You’ll help them navigate everyday banking challenges, from online access issues to card disputes, ensuring every interaction leaves them feeling supported and confident.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line assistance to customers via phone, chat or in‑branch.
• Resolve online banking access problems and guide users through digital tools.
• Investigate and settle card disputes, payment queries and regulatory questions.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow‑up actions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely solutions.

Required profile

• Strong background in customer service or administration with a genuine passion for helping people.
• Comfortable using digital platforms and able to teach customers how to use them.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying calm and solution‑focused.
• Willingness to learn about financial services, compliance and regulated environments.
• Problem‑solving mindset and a desire to build a long‑term career in banking.
