Customer Service Specialist – Concierge (S2C)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist to act as a Concierge for our Straight‑to‑Car (S2C) service at Christchurch Airport. In this 12‑month fixed‑term position you will deliver a premium, personalised experience for Avis Preferred customers, ensuring a smooth transition from reservation to vehicle pick‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers at the airport, open vehicle doors, assist with luggage and provide a brief overview of the rental vehicle.
• Guide customers through the Straight‑to‑Car process, confirming logistics via phone, text, email or app.
• Troubleshoot issues on the spot, escalating unresolved matters to the S2C team.
• Report frequent issues to help improve the service.
• Train RSA and Rover team members on S2C procedures.
• Coordinate vehicle pick‑up and drop‑off with team members and management.
• Inspect rented vehicles before hand‑over.

Required profile

• Passionate about the Avis brand and delivering premium customer experiences.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multitask effectively.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Required skills

• Comfortable using tablets or mobile devices for communication and data entry.
