About the role
The Warehouse Group is seeking an enthusiastic Buyers Assistant to support the Home category covering Appliances, Furniture, Luggage and Storage. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in a fast‑moving retail environment and a clear pathway toward a buying career.
Key responsibilities
- Raise and manage urgent purchase orders.
- Communicate with global suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure timely updates.
- Maintain accurate product data, pricing and imagery.
- Support promotional and advertising administration.
- Manage samples and assist with range administration.
- Provide general administrative and systems support to Category Buyers.
- Collaborate with the wider merchandise team across functions.
Required profile
- Clear and confident communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Comfort working in a reactive, fast‑paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
- Collaborative mindset and respect for diverse teams.
Required skills
- Intermediate Excel proficiency.
- Microsoft Office capability.
