About the role
As a Brewery Maintenance Technician – Electrical you will join the production team at DB Breweries in Auckland, supporting the safe and efficient delivery of high‑quality beer, cider and RTD products. You will be involved in preventive, reactive and predictive maintenance while driving continuous improvement and asset reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform safe, timely and cost‑effective electrical maintenance to meet production and maintenance schedules.
- Carry out reactive, planned and predictive maintenance tasks to a high standard.
- Lead and support TPM and continuous improvement initiatives to reduce losses and enhance performance.
- Act as technical area owner, overseeing asset care, life‑extension and innovation.
- Collaborate closely with production, planning and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute to safety, quality, food‑safety and sustainability standards across the brewery.
Required profile
- Current New Zealand Electrical Practising Licence (mandatory).
- Experience in maintenance within FMCG, food or beverage manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of plant, machinery and maintenance engineering practices.
- Familiarity with CMMS systems and maintenance reporting tools.
- Continuous‑improvement mindset (TPM, Lean or CI experience is beneficial).
- Ability to work collaboratively, adapt to change and share knowledge.

- Lean / Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Utilities plant knowledge (boilers, compressors, refrigeration)
