Service Technician – Forklift Maintenance (Auckland)

About the role

Join Crown Equipment’s Auckland service team, performing field‑based and workshop repairs on a diverse fleet of battery‑electric and internal‑combustion forklifts. You’ll support customers across your assigned area, ensuring their operations stay running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site and workshop maintenance and repairs on various forklift models.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and diesel issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support, including on‑call duties.
• Maintain accurate service records and adhere to safety standards.
• Participate in training, including travel to Australia for product knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience with material handling equipment, auto‑electrical, diesel or motor mechanics, or a related trade qualification.
• Customer‑centric, solutions‑focused attitude and strong teamwork skills.
• Physically fit for manual handling and able to pass a pre‑employment medical, drug & alcohol test, and hold a valid driver’s licence.
• Eligibility to travel to Australia (NZ passport or visa).
