Freelance Material Scientist (Python) – AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Material Scientist with strong Python skills to help design and evaluate AI‑driven engineering problems. The work is project‑based, remote, and supports leading tech companies in testing and improving AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original material engineering problems that mimic real‑world workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks that require numerical methods, iterative solutions, and computational intensity.
• Develop problems involving system design, optimization, and analysis.
• Base tasks on actual research challenges or practical engineering applications.
• Verify solutions using Python and standard engineering libraries.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide validated answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Material Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of professional, research, or teaching experience.
• Strong written English proficiency (C1+).
• Understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations.
