Brand Integration & Community Engagement Specialist

About the role

First Focus is looking for a Brand Integration & Community Engagement Specialist to guide newly acquired New Zealand brands through transition periods. Over the next 12 months you will ensure customers feel heard, informed and confident as the brand ecosystem evolves.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and adapt content across LinkedIn, YouTube, Reddit and Meta platforms.
• Engage with customers, prospects and the wider NZ business community, responding to comments, questions and direct messages with sound judgement.
• Support customer communication during acquisition and brand‑transition phases.
• Help acquired brands and their communities integrate into the First Focus ecosystem while preserving trust.
• Monitor engagement trends, platform behaviour, competitor activity and relevant industry conversations.
• Recommend practical actions to strengthen visibility, credibility and online authority across NZ.

Required profile

• Experience managing social media, online communities or customer engagement for a business brand, preferably in MSP, IT, SaaS or professional services.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to be clear, calm and commercially appropriate.
• Confidence engaging with business audiences on LinkedIn, Reddit, YouTube and Meta, including handling comments and direct messages.
• Ability to adapt tone across platforms and audiences.
• Comfort supporting customers through change, ambiguity, acquisition activity or brand transition.
• Technical literacy and interest in technology, AI and digital trends.
• Experience with YouTube or video‑led content.
• Full‑time availability for a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.
