Territory Manager

About the role

Ecolab is seeking a Territory Manager (Field Service Manager) to oversee a portfolio of food‑retail accounts. The role involves on‑site food safety, brand protection and cleaning audits, providing customers with detailed quality reports and actionable recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site food safety, brand standards and cleaning audits at retail food locations.
• Deliver food safety education and brand‑standard training to customers.
• Produce accurate audit reports and maintain effective communication with clients.
• Collaborate with Ecolab account management teams to resolve client issues and develop programs.
• Maintain professional credentials and stay current with government regulations and industry practices.
• Complete required audit frequency (monthly or quarterly) and assess departmental compliance.
• Ensure dispensing equipment is in excellent working order and install as needed.
• Meet with store management to present findings and recommend improvements.
• Update client contact records and territory management system.
• Plan and execute an efficient daily route to maximize productivity.

Required profile

• Professional credentials related to food safety or hygiene.
• Strong knowledge of current food safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Ability to travel within an assigned territory and conduct on‑site evaluations.
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and reporting.
• Organizational skills to manage audit schedules and documentation.
