About the role
The Fill Team Department at Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill is looking for an enthusiastic and organised Team Leader. You will oversee daily operations on the shop floor, ensuring shelves are stocked, surplus inventory is managed, and store presentation meets high standards.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support the Fill Team on a day‑to‑day basis.
- Create and manage department rosters, ensuring adequate coverage.
- Coordinate stock movement from deliveries to shelves and storage cupboards.
- Maintain store merchandising and presentation standards.
- Collaborate with other store departments to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Required profile
- Previous experience in leading and managing teams.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to handle a varied and busy workload with high accuracy.
- Physically fit for lifting, manual handling, ladder use and standing on concrete floors.
Required skills
- Forklift licence (advantageous).
