Teach English in China – Training & Full Support

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic English teachers to join English 1’s network of schools in China. You will work with children aged 3‑16, delivering lessons, planning activities and helping students improve their language skills while experiencing life in Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Teach English to children aged 3‑16 using English 1’s multimedia curriculum.
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons.
• Assess student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
• Participate in school‑organised social and cultural activities.
• Utilise distance‑learning resources such as Trinity College CertPT and DELTM.

Required profile

• Valid passport and a bachelor’s degree.
• English as a Second Language (ESL) or TEFL certification (sponsored if needed).
• Clear background check.
• Willingness to relocate to China and work on‑site.
• Open to first‑time teachers as well as experienced educators.
