Tax Manager and Senior Consultant Opportunities in Auckland

About the role

Deloitte New Zealand’s Tax and Business Advisory division is seeking experienced tax professionals to join its Auckland team. Roles include M&A Tax Manager, Corporate Tax Senior Consultant, Manager – Research & Development Tax Advisory, and Tax Manager/Associate Director (Corporate & International Tax). You will work with a diverse client base, providing pragmatic, commercial tax advice and helping businesses navigate complex tax legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver solution‑driven tax advice across corporate, international, indirect, transfer pricing, M&A, customs, and R&D tax credit areas.
• Stay current with New Zealand tax law and regulatory changes.
• Build commercial and technical knowledge to consult with clients and support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with specialist tax teams to address complex client issues.
• Contribute to the development of tax strategies that add value for clients.

Required profile

• A degree in Accounting, Tax, Law or a related field.
• Relevant experience in professional services or tax advisory.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Desire to grow a career in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
