Support Lead – Operational Leadership (Christchurch)

About the role

The Support Lead will work alongside a high‑performing parcel‑sorting team at the Syd Bradley Road Processing Centre. You will act as the day‑to‑day point of contact, helping the team meet NZ Post’s service standards and ensuring smooth parcel flow.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Floor Manager and act as 2IC in their absence.
• Communicate objectives, monitor performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee accurate data capture and keep operational systems up‑to‑date.
• Manage resources, staffing and budget for the processing area.
• Promote a safe, positive and high‑performing team culture.

Required profile

• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 4 pm – 12:30 am.
• Strong understanding of logistics and national transport networks.
• Hands‑on attitude with a commitment to safety.
• Ability to lead and support a team in a fast‑paced environment.
