Senior Water Engineer – Treatment Projects

About the role

WSP is seeking a Senior Water Engineer to join its national Water and Wastewater Treatment team in Auckland. You will provide expert advice on water and wastewater treatment projects, guiding investigations and designs from concept through construction while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex water and wastewater treatment investigations and design work.
• Deliver high‑quality technical solutions from concept to construction.
• Work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote technical excellence across the business.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering (Water or Environmental).
• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in water engineering.
• Extensive experience in water and stormwater engineering solutions.
• Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset.
