Retired Chartered Accountant/Auditor for IFRS Review (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a retired chartered accountant or auditor to review a newly built financial accounting software platform for compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The work will be performed remotely, with occasional communication with the founder based in Papamoa, Tauranga, NZ.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse the software’s accounting logic and data handling against IFRS requirements.
• Identify gaps or inconsistencies and provide detailed feedback.
• Collaborate with the development team to discuss findings and possible improvements.
• Document compliance assessment and recommendations.

Required profile

• Retired chartered accountant or auditor with solid IFRS knowledge.
• Interest in technology and willingness to engage with a software platform.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
