Registered Nurse – Full‑time or Part‑time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team delivering rehabilitation and long‑term care for adults aged 16‑65 with physical, neurological or acquired brain injury needs. The role can be permanent full‑time (40 hours) or part‑time, providing hands‑on clinical care, advocacy and person‑centred planning.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan and deliver nursing care for residents with complex physical, cognitive and neurological conditions.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists and other health professionals to coordinate multidisciplinary rehabilitation programmes.
• Provide leadership and direction to care staff during shifts, ensuring safe and high‑quality practice.
• Support residents and their families/whānau in achieving self‑directed, enriched lives.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in ongoing quality improvement activities.

Required profile

• At least 2 years post‑qualification experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current New Zealand practising certificate (or valid NZ work visa for non‑citizens).
• Strong assessment, planning and clinical decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills within a multidisciplinary environment.
• Commitment to person‑centred, values‑based care.

Required skills

• Clinical nursing skills in rehabilitation, brain injury or neurology (preferred).
• Ability to support residents with complex physical or cognitive needs.
