Primary Teacher – UAE

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Primary Teacher to join a school in the United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will have at least two years of classroom teaching experience, a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education, and the ability to deliver lessons both in‑person and online across core subjects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver lessons for English, Mathematics, Science and homeroom activities.
• Teach according to the individual needs, abilities and achievement levels of students.
• Implement the school development plan and contribute to curriculum improvement.
• Assign, correct and assess student work following established policies.
• Record, assess and report on student progress, attainment and behaviour.
• Prepare oral and written assessments, reports and references.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, leadership and parents/guardians to support student outcomes.
• Participate in in‑service training, professional development and action‑research initiatives.
• Maintain order, discipline and safeguard student health and safety.
• Attend and contribute to staff, curriculum and administrative meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (on‑campus) in a related subject.
• Minimum two years of full‑time teaching experience.
• PGCE or QTS certification (mandatory).
• Two professional references provided at application.
• Clear criminal background check required.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience managing classes for English, Mathematics and Science.
