Night Service Driver – Wellington to Auckland

About the role

Tranzit Intercity is seeking an experienced driver to join its overnight team in Wellington, operating the long‑haul night service between Wellington and Auckland on a 4‑days‑on, 4‑days‑off roster.

Key responsibilities

• Operate large passenger vehicles on night routes between Wellington and Auckland.
• Manage fatigue and adhere to health and safety standards.
• Handle on‑road issues with sound judgement and initiative.
• Provide excellent customer service to passengers.

Required profile

• Class 4 driver’s licence (preferred) with passenger endorsement or ability to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, good time‑management and ability to work independently.
• Availability for rostered hours and night shift work.
