Marketing Lead – Rotorua Site

About the role

Skyline Enterprises Limited is seeking a Marketing Lead to drive day‑to‑day marketing activities for its Rotorua tourism site. You will own the practical rollout of campaigns that boost visitation, revenue and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute on‑site signage, wayfinding and messaging improvements.
• Launch timely promotions, seasonal pushes and food & beverage campaigns.
• Collaborate with sales, events and operations teams to align initiatives.
• Coordinate with the national NZ marketing team to ensure brand consistency.
• Manage industry partnerships, joint‑venture campaigns and regional tourism programmes.
• Lead a Marketing Coordinator and oversee external creative vendors.

Required profile

• 5+ years of broad marketing experience, preferably in fast‑paced environments such as FMCG or retail.
• Hands‑on, sleeves‑rolled‑up attitude with proven ability to take ideas to market across multiple channels (eDM, local partnerships, on‑site communications, paid media).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to keep campaigns moving.
• Customer‑first mindset with a focus on converting insights into visitor actions.
• Excellent coordination of content production, briefing designers and managing suppliers.
• Leadership potential; experience managing direct reports is a plus.

• Project coordination and vendor management.
