Legal AI Prompt Writer - Remote

About the role

We are seeking legal professionals to help train and evaluate AI systems that work with legal documents and administrative workflows. This remote contractor position blends modern AI technology with meticulous legal documentation work, ideal for detail‑oriented individuals.

Key responsibilities

• Create AI training prompts and reference responses using real legal contracts, policies, filings, and procedural steps.
• Evaluate AI‑generated answers for legal accuracy, completeness, clarity, and compliance with guidelines, providing concise rationales.
• Manually annotate legal data by extracting information from scanned or paper‑based records and entering it into structured digital formats, flagging ambiguities and inconsistencies.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma, or equivalent experience in Law, Legal Studies, Paralegal Studies, or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience drafting, reviewing, filing, summarising, or organising legal documents and workflows.
• Familiarity with structured, paper‑heavy environments such as courts, municipalities, ministries, agencies, universities, hospitals, or NGOs (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail for spotting inconsistencies in dates, parties, citations, numbering, and cross‑references.
• Minimum B2 English proficiency for understanding guidelines and collaborating asynchronously.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
• Experience working with PDF documents and redlining/track‑changes features.
