About the role
As a Key Account Manager at Diplomat New Zealand Limited, you will lead the management and growth of our most important customer accounts. Based in Takapuna, Auckland, you will ensure exceptional service and build long‑term strategic partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute account plans to achieve and exceed sales targets for key accounts.
- Manage and strengthen relationships with key decision‑makers and stakeholders.
- Identify new opportunities to expand business and drive revenue growth.
- Provide expert product and industry knowledge to support customer needs.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Monitor and report on account performance, highlighting areas for improvement.
- Represent the company at industry events and customer meetings.
Required profile
- Proven track record of success in account management or relationship‑focused sales roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust.
- Strong negotiation and problem‑solving abilities for complex situations.
- Proficient in using CRM systems to manage customer data and pipeline.
- Thorough understanding of the sales process and customer lifecycle.
- Familiarity with the account and relationship management industry.
