Junior / Intermediate Full‑Stack Developer – Digital Channels

About the role

BNZ is looking for Junior and Intermediate Full‑Stack Developers to join its Digital Channels team, which builds and maintains the Web Customer Channel. This permanent, full‑time position is based in Wellington and offers a hybrid work model.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑facing improvements, from problem clarification to safe release.
• Make pragmatic engineering decisions while adhering to patterns, standards, and performance goals.
• Break down tasks, identify root causes, propose solutions, and ask clarifying questions early.
• Write well‑tested, observable code, participate in code reviews, and support production incidents.
• Collaborate across disciplines, share knowledge through pairing and documentation, and seek feedback to grow.
