About the role

We are seeking a creative interior or hospitality designer to refresh the ambiance of a modern Italian restaurant in Bath, UK. This freelance project focuses on targeted updates to enhance the customer experience without a full renovation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a cohesive moodboard reflecting a contemporary Italian concept.
• Propose refined colour palettes, material suggestions, wall finishes and lighting directions.
• Suggest decor and styling ideas that align with a warm, elegant, authentic vibe.
• Provide optional simple renders to visualise the design.
• Offer professional guidance for sourcing decor and materials, while the client handles procurement.

Required profile

• Proven experience in interior or hospitality design with a strong portfolio of relevant projects.
• Ability to create contemporary, elegant, authentic design concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present ideas clearly.
• Availability for remote collaboration and timely delivery of design assets.
• Open to students or emerging designers with demonstrable skills.
