Food & Beverage Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead our onsite hospitality experience across Fisher & Paykel’s new Auckland campuses. The role will own all catering operations, from daily café service to large‑scale events, delivering fresh, innovative menus that enhance employee and visitor experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver balanced, appealing menus that meet quality and presentation standards.
• Lead day‑to‑day food service operations, ensuring consistency and high standards.
• Create seamless catering experiences for meetings and events, adapting to business needs.
• Champion food safety, hygiene, and health & safety compliance.
• Manage stock, suppliers, and purchasing to balance quality, sustainability, and cost.
• Own financial performance through budgeting, pricing strategies, waste reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Inspire, develop, and lead a high‑performing team with a collaborative, customer‑focused culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a corporate cafeteria, hospitality venue, or similar food service operation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Relevant qualification such as a Diploma in Culinary Arts or Advanced Cookery (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control costs, and drive operational efficiencies.
• Excellent leadership skills with experience developing teams.
• Strong customer focus and ability to innovate menu offerings.
