Experienced Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and production of our next‑generation livestock collar hardware. You will join a small, high‑performance team at Halter, a fast‑growing ag‑tech startup focused on sustainable farming.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop highly reliable mechanical devices that operate in harsh outdoor environments.
• Scale up production processes to meet global demand for the new collar series.
• Perform verification and validation testing, document results, and ensure compliance with durability standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate mechanical solutions with electronics and software.
• Continuously improve product robustness drawing on experience from automotive, agricultural or military sectors.

Required profile

• Proven experience in mechanical engineering of durable products.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup environment.
• Passion for creating technology that transforms agriculture.
