Distribution Trainer – Learning & Capability

About the role

Partners Life is seeking a Distribution Trainer to lead capability uplift across its insurance distribution network. You will design and deliver learning solutions that improve adviser performance and align with business priorities while meeting regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify performance gaps and create targeted learning, coaching and development programmes.
• Design and deliver engaging, blended learning experiences that drive on‑the‑job behaviour change.
• Collaborate with the Distribution Training Manager and stakeholders to translate business needs into effective capability initiatives.
• Ensure all training content complies with regulatory requirements and is audit‑ready.
• Continuously improve programmes using data, feedback and best‑practice L&D approaches.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in learning and development, capability, training or coaching roles.
• Strong facilitation skills combined with strategic capability thinking.
• Proven ability to design blended learning (face‑to‑face, digital, coaching).
• Deep understanding of adult learning principles and capability development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Experience in financial services or insurance is beneficial but not essential.
• Relevant qualifications in Learning & Development, Adult Education, HR or Organisational Development.
