About the role
Join Auckland Transport as a part‑time Customer Service Representative working in one of its Central, Northwest or Southeast service centres. You will be the first point of contact for Aucklanders using public transport, helping them plan journeys, resolve issues and enjoy a smooth travel experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide friendly, accurate information and assistance to customers in a fast‑paced environment.
- Empathise with diverse customer needs and prioritize requests effectively.
- Handle enquiries across multiple transport modes, including ferries, buses and trains.
- Resolve conflicts, de‑escalate challenging situations and ensure a positive outcome.
- Support other service centres when required, maintaining consistent service standards.
Required profile
- Eager to learn and develop new skills.
- Passionate about serving the public and delivering world‑class customer service.
- Positive attitude, strong interpersonal abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
