COF A Automotive Technician – Full-time, Monday‑Friday

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Automotive Technician with a COF A authority to join a busy workshop team in East Tamaki. The role is a stable Monday‑to‑Friday position focused on Certificate of Fitness inspections for light commercial and rental vehicles, with additional servicing and compliance work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform COF A inspections on light commercial and rental vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify compliance‑related faults.
• Carry out general servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct vehicle safety inspections and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate inspection and workshop documentation.
• Ensure all work meets NZTA compliance standards.

Required profile

• Qualified Automotive Technician with current COF A authority (essential).
• Strong knowledge of NZTA compliance requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high workmanship standards.
• Current clean driver’s licence.
• WOF authority is advantageous but not required.
