Category Manager

About the role

DB Breweries is looking for a Category Manager to lead insights and performance across Traditional Liquor and On‑Premises channels, as well as International Premium and Ready‑to‑Drink (RTD) categories. You will act as the channel champion, partnering with sales, marketing and key customers to unlock growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver actionable insights, reporting and recommendations for Traditional Liquor and On‑Premises channels.
• Use shopper and category data to support business decisions and customer conversations.
• Lead category insights throughout planning cycles, customer reviews and product launches.
• Develop long‑term channel strategies and annual plans, translating commercial insights into practical actions.
• Present and align plans with key customers, tracking performance against targets.
• Lead category conversations with customers to drive growth, covering range, pricing, promotions and space.
• Partner with Brand and Trade Marketing teams on new product launches and trade presentations.
• Identify and resolve performance gaps across brands and customers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in category management, sales or marketing, preferably in FMCG.
• Strong analytical ability and confidence working with data.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Experience with scan data tools such as Aztec.
• Experience with scan data tools such as Nielsen.
