Casual Commercial Cleaner – Newmarket

About the role

Millennium Services Group is seeking enthusiastic and reliable cleaners for a casual position in Newmarket, New Zealand. You will join a fast‑paced team delivering high‑quality commercial cleaning services to a variety of clients. The role offers flexible shifts across weekdays and weekends, with competitive hourly rates.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties to a high standard.
• Spot‑clean furnishings and dust all hard surfaces.
• Sweep and mop floors, including use of floor‑care equipment where required.
• Clean toilets and maintain sanitary standards.
• Collect and dispose of rubbish.
• Clean internal and external glass surfaces.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience in a commercial environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable punctuality.
• Good understanding of Work Health and Safety standards.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, including public holidays.
• Must be 18 years or older and hold valid New Zealand work rights.
• Proficient English speaking and comprehension.

Required skills

• Operation of floor‑care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers or sweepers.
