Caregiver – Full‑time Aged Care Support

About the role

Join Palms Lifecare in South Auckland as a full‑time Caregiver, providing compassionate support to residents in a modern 118‑bed care home and village. You will work across various shifts, including mornings, evenings, nights, and weekends, ensuring a warm and safe environment for our aged‑care community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and assistance to residents according to their individual needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming living environment.
• Support residents with daily activities, promoting independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to implement care plans.
• Observe and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing.

Required profile

• Minimum NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Health and Wellbeing or equivalent qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Nursing, Diploma in Nursing).
• At least one year of experience in a caregiver or similar role, preferably in aged care.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Legal right to work in New Zealand.
