Business Development Executive – Spa & Wellness

About the role

The Business Development Executive will join Polynesian Spa in Rotorua, reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager. This role combines sales, marketing and business development to grow domestic and international visitor numbers while maintaining the brand’s reputation for exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Sales & Marketing Manager to develop and implement sales and marketing strategies.
• Create and execute compelling campaigns that drive visitor growth.
• Produce marketing collateral that reflects the Polynesian Spa brand story.
• Coordinate print, online and digital marketing activities for consistent, high‑impact messaging.
• Support planning, creation and scheduling of engaging social media content.
• Maintain and update the company website to ensure accurate, on‑brand information.
• Oversee key databases and e‑communications to nurture customer and partner relationships.
• Represent Polynesian Spa at industry events to elevate brand presence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, business development and sales.
• Strong initiative and ability to turn opportunities into measurable results.
• Comfortable working with both domestic and international markets.
• Passion for the tourism, leisure and wellness sectors.
