Business Development Executive

About the role

XeXe is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to join its Corporate division in New Zealand. You will help local SMEs and mid‑market companies manage foreign‑exchange exposure and international payments, acting as the first point of contact for new corporate prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls, email, LinkedIn, events and referrals.
• Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified corporate prospects, ensuring accurate forecasting in the CRM.
• Conduct structured discovery conversations to understand clients’ FX exposure, payment flows and risk‑management needs.
• Collaborate with Corporate Dealers, Credit and Compliance teams to design tailored solutions and move prospects from first trade to ongoing relationships.
• Achieve monthly targets for applications, first‑time trades and new‑business revenue.
• Represent XeXe at industry events, webinars and partner activities.
• Contribute to sales initiatives and projects as required.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of experience in outbound sales, business development or a customer‑facing role.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Self‑motivated, curious and eager to develop a career in financial services.
